ABOUT ME
Brianna Wheatley is the creator and crochet artist of Banana Wheaties Makes. Brianna has been a life-long lover of crafts and DIYs, and one day in June 2022, she decided to venture into the world of crocheting. After hours of YouTube How To videos, and a lot (and I mean A LOT) of trial and error, she began to crochet gifts for friends and family. Support from friends grew, and after creating unique commissions for friends, Brianna launched Banana Wheaties Makes LLC in June 2023.
Brianna is 28 years old, and is based in her hometown, Severn, MD. Along with crocheting, Brianna enjoys listening to true crime podcasts and audiobooks.
The Story Behind the Name
Banana Wheaties Makes was established in June 2023.
The creator, Brianna Wheatley, had been nicknamed the whimsical “Banana Wheaties” by friends as early as highschool. The playful name represents the creator’s silly nature, as well as the mission of our business.
